LEARN x6 Latin Dances in 10 Weeks!
• Learn all 6 of the most popular Street Latin dance styles, this is a great way to learn the basics of all the Latin dances that you may continue in furhter courses and is a great start for social dancing. You can join almost any time, but ideally is best to join in when a new dance style starts. New Latin dance styles are taught every 1-2 weeks. see more below. • NEW Samba De Gafiera We've just added this 6th Latin Dance style from Brazil which is very new in NZ, called Samba De Gafiera. Its like a mix of Tango, Zouk & Salsa. • Once you have completed the course we recommend that you join a Beginner Salsa Course and you will be able to join up to week#3 or before to gain more partnering skills & technique for Latin Dancing in general. You will also be able to join in Open Level Courses in Zouk & Bachata
Merengue - Basic steps, partnering & Turns (Week1&2) - Very easy Latin dance to learn (Dominican Republic) Bachata - Basics steps, partnering & Turns (Week3&4) - Popular Latin dance style orginated from Domincan Republic Salsa - Basics steps, partnering & Turns (Week5&6) - Most popular Latin Dance Style world wide & we have 9 further courses available to progress in this style. Zouk - Basics steps, partnering & Turns (Week7&8) - New & popular dance style orginated from Lambada (Brazil) Samba De Gafiera - Basics, partnering & turns (Week9) - Newest Latin dance style with Tango elements (Brazil) Cha Cha - Basics steps, partnering & Turns (Week10) - Also known as tripple Mambo, this is an On2 Latin dance which is a very close cousin to Salsa. Orginiated from the same places as Salsa inc; Cuba, New York & Purto Rico.
Can I join? Yes, these are ideal for absolute beginners and for those who want to learn about other Latin Dance styles & it's for any age. Or if you just want to have some fun, its very social. So bring a few friends to try this class out, they also get a Free 1st class. No Parnters are needed as we swap often to learn to dance with others and learn at a faster pace. You can also join at the beginning of a new dance style. i.e. Bachata, just start on week#3, see the timetable for week#'s
