salsa timing cd This yearly competition at near the beginning of the night and party with social salsa dancing all night, Everybody welcome.

Categories:
  Under 1 year (beginners/Intermediate): Freestyle competition.
Music will be choosen by organizers & not hear until the night.
Approx 3- 3 ½ minutes long.
  Over 1 year (advanced): Freestyle competiton.
Music will be choosen by organizers & not heard until the night.
Approx 3-3 1/2 minutes long.
  Performers/Teachers: Danced to your own piece of music.
Routine to be 2.5 to 3 minutes in length & must have 80% salsa.
salsa timing cd Judges: Annie from Blenheim/Nelson, Alfonso from Dunedin, Zane Powell from Auckland.
salsa timing cd Entry fee to compete: $25 per couple - Any Salsa dancers who learn in the South Island welcome to compete! $40 for teams
Costuming: up to the competitors, although a wise choice to make some effort!

Music for Teams & Peformers/Teachers levels need to be with the organizers 1 week prior to the Competition.

• Stayz from Stars Dance Academy, Nelson & Coach of the NZ Youth Salsa Team, is teaching is ‘high energy’, exciting Salsa Funk workshop @ - 1-2pm Salsa fun for youth, but anyone welcome!
 
Workshop Prices:  $15 for 1 workshop / $25 for 2 workshops, Youth workshop $10 for ‘under 16 years’
