Ladies Salsa Styling Course & Performance

Date: Starting Jan 5 Thursdays 2012
Time: 7:30pm - 8:30pm
Level: Improvers & Above

Come and join the Salsa Revolution girls at Salsa Latina. The team that won the Best Shine Team award at the 2010 South Island Salsa Competition, 1st South Island Street Latin Team 2011, and 3rd national Latin Showcase Team 2011, and have also been invited to perform at the Sydney Latin Festival in February. Rachelle will be running a third ladies styling course with the option of carrying this on to the performance level course - perfect for those improvers/intermediate level dancers who want to work on their body movement, styling and confidence on the dance floor. (Supported by Salsa Latina)
The main body of the course runs for 12 weeks, during which time you will learn a choreography to a set song. The moves and style you get from this can easily be taken into your social dancing and you will notice your enjoyment and ability to move to the music improve ten-fold! For those ladies wanting to have the opportunity to perform, you can then choose to continue with regular weekly classes where the choreography will be further polished with a focus on performance and presentation skills.

Cost: Cost: $130 for the initial 12 weeks, or $15 drop in. If you choose to continue to performance level it is then an extra $40/month (no drop-ins for this one!) as well as costume costs. Please email Rachelle at info@myshoetopia.org for more details, or just turn up on the first night.
