What you will Learn: Advanced salsa routine from "Salsa Sabrosa", performance tips, tricks, Mens styling, Ladies styling, perfect timing & alot more. Over the 4 week course we will focus on a new section in the routine, never seen before!. Note: you wont need to perform, this is just a course - It's much the same style as we would run a general salsa class.
Take your salsa dancing to a new level! • Train with some of the best salsa dancers in New Zealand to perform or to learn about how to perform and learn a salsa routine which will develop your salsa tremendously! • Participants in this course may be invited to go through to join Salsa Sabrosa performance team after completion. This is the only way to get into our performance team, Salsa Sabrosa. • Some of the current Salsa Sabrosa team will also be assisting and participating in this course so you will learn fast. • Please be aware that this isn't Salsa for social dancing. Big moves such as neck-drops, slides and lifts are for performing and are not meant to be used for social dancing.

It's highly recommended you have completed 8 weeks of beginners class before joining this level. Remember if you find our intermediate a struggle, do this level as well as intermediate to help. You will pick up more details second or third time round, no matter what level you are.

Salsa Class (Linear salsa On1) You will learn - More Fundamentals and beyond. Also learn variations, combos, turn patterns, dips, techniques & styling. Duration: 16 week Salsa course in total, join any time after improvers (level 2) and then complete a total of 16 weeks. Each of the 4 Sections (A,B,C,D) contains 4 weeks at a time. You can join on week#1 on any of these sections as you finish Improver levels. Once you have completed each of the 4 sections (16 weeks) you can progress to the upper intermediate level.

Beginners - Improvers Ladies Styling Time: 2pm-3pm This 2 part styling routine focuses on jazzing up bsic salsa movement. This Salsa class will extend and develop your footwork, body movement, isolation, timing and arms. Learn how to look great on the dance floor and add your own unique flair to enhance the basics.
Intermediate - Upper Int Ladies Styling Time: 3:30pm-4:30pm With this 2 part shine routine you can extend your Salsa boundaries, push your body to new limits and advance you technical ability. Footwork and technicality are the predominant features of this fun and unique workshop. This is your chance to try something new and shine.

The famous Hot Springs Salsa yearly winter party, with latin dance workshops in the afternoon. "Road Trip to Hanmer Springs - Its hot both inside the pool and hotter the Salsa hall"
Salseros from all around the south Island from Christchurch, Dunedin, Westcoast, Blenheim and Nelson and even a few from the North Island 'World Salsa Tours' will combine this year and spend an awesome weekend in Hanmer to move to the rythms of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Cha cha cha at the Hanmer Memorial Hall. So bring the kids and enjoy the treasures that Hanmer has to offer. This is a beautiful alpine village ...enjoy the hotpools.. It's also the first weekend of the school holidays.
