Bachata Moderna - Open Level Course 4th Nov 7:30pm - Learn this new styles of Bachata which has Tango influences, which is combining the traditional style of Bachata. Brand new course for any level... more below.

Bachata Moderna - Intermediate Class every Wednesdays 8:30pm - We have now included the 'Bachata Moderna' style along with the traditional style in this level. Moderna is "Tango" influenced Bachata that is simply added to the traditional style to spice it up. Thanks to the inspiration and support of Juan & Samantha. Marcela (Tango Expert) & Reuben are in training in both styles so you can expect the best in these classes.

Studio 3 @ Salsa Latina - Work has just started on studio 3, a wall has been knocked down to make this studio bigger and the floor is about to be sanded back to the original wood soon, this will be available for hire during Salsa class times for students. more updates & info coming.....

Salsa Latina is raising funds for their Pro-team Salsa Sabrosa. Salsa Sabrosa was recently chosen at the New Zealand Salsa Congress to Represent New Zealand at the International Salsa Congress in Sydney 2010. See Video from NZ Congress>

Totally Fun filled and hot. Drink and dance the night away. Every Thursday night at the (Next Door) previously known as the Loaded Hog. Come down and have a look, a drink and have a dance! Anyone can come, this night is for everybody at all levels, dancers and non-dancers.

FREE Intro dance Class - 8:30pm-9:15pm, Drop in any Thursday for a Free class. It's for everyone & anyone, all levels! Intros to different styles of dances including, Zouk, Bachata, Salsa, Merengue & Cha. Come down for an open level fun free class lasting 45mins - 1hour. You're welcome to come in before 8:30pm and warm up with a Beer or Wine. After the class finishes carry on dancing the night away till late. So drag some friends down for some fun!

Salsa Class (Linear salsa On1) Salsa Fundamentals. This is the most important level you will ever learn, its the foundation to linear salsa. It's worth repeating this level no matter what level you are, Improver, Intermediate or Advanced you can still improve your foundation. It's highly recommended you have completed 8 weeks of beginners class before joining this level. Remember if you find our intermediate a struggle, do this level as well as intermediate to help. You will pick up more details second or third time round, no matter what level you are.

Salsa Class (Linear salsa On1) You will learn - More Fundamentals and beyond. Also learn variations, combos, turn patterns, dips, techniques & styling. Duration: 16 week Salsa course in total, join any time after improvers (level 2) and then complete a total of 16 weeks. Each of the 4 Sections (A,B,C,D) contains 4 weeks at a time. You can join on week#1 on any of these sections as you finish Improver levels. Once you have completed each of the 4 sections (16 weeks) in any order you may be able to progress to the Upper Intermediate level on Monday at 8:30pm

Bachata Moderna (NEW) 4 Week open level Course Info: If you haven't tried Bachata before, join this open level 4 week course, its for everyone including absolute beginners. Learn Bachata basics, style & technique, plus some new moderna Bachata that has just been included in this syllabus. What is Bachata? Bachata Moderna & Traditional Intemediate Class: Continuous class to join anytime - Intermediate (all levels - Imp Int & Advanced). Once you have completed the bachata open level course, or have done beginners Bachata. You may join this open level Intermediate Bachata Class. You can join at any point as there is no start date, these are new bachata combos each week. NOTE: Bachata Moderna is "Tango" influenced Bachata.

New Timing Salsa CD or Mp3 Set (2009) contains essential timing, rhythms & music for salsa dancers. it's for beginners to advanced levels. It contains counts so you can get used to stepping in time with salsa and give you not only music to practice to, but knowledge of how salsa music is constructed, so you can become a better dancer.
