Learn how to dance Sevillanas and get a taste of the Spanish Fiesta! The Sevillana is a colourful and exciting Spanish dance style, with a touch of Flamenco, performed by fiestas of all kinds throughout Spain.
'Sevillanas' is a social dance, danced by couples of all ages and sexes during celebrations (fiestas or ferias), often by whole families and 'pueblos'. 'Sevillanas' choreography is very stable, and knowing it is very useful, since it is a fiesta dance. This is why learning flamenco usually starts with this particular dance: it is easier to reach a particular level and there are more occasions for practice and training (even for men). It is a very vivid dance, often excluded from flamenco by "purists". Paradoxically, during spectacles and shows it is usually Sevillana dancing that ordinary people take for 'the real, true flamenco', as it is full of turns.

Yoga Classes: An astanga class consists of posture sequences used with breath technique to realign and detoxify the physical body. Classes suit people of all ages, from beginners to advanced, as variations of posture will be given which are specific to each individual.
Benefits of Yoga: There are many benefits to the yoga practice. The whole endocrine system is improved, balancing sleep wake cycles, enhancing muscle control, tissue repair, organ function, sleep wake cycles, metabolic rate, digestion and growth. The parasympathetic nervous system is calmed giving a greater sense of wellbeing, clarity, and optimism. The postures and breath together will greatly enhance day to day energy levels, increasing flexibilty and strength in not only body but also in mind.

Teacher: Jolie, has spent the previous six years training and teaching in popular yoga studios throughout Australia. Her primary training has been in Melbourne with her teacher of the Ashtanga Vinyasa based lineage, with an emphasis placed on Jnana yoga, giving her understanding of yoga as not only a means to realighn the physical body, but as a process of transformation. Her interest in wellbeing inspired her to complete a Diploma in Counselling/Psychology (ACNM), Diploma in Human services (Victoria University), and Reiki levels 1, 2, 3 and Masters. Hip Hop Dance Classes for Beginners

Hip Hop Classes: for all ages, come learn how to hit the beat and move to the music. You will learn sets of choreography that will use various elements of hip hop dancing, which include waving, body rolls and gliding etc. After breaking down the choreography part by part it will be put together to form a smooth, beat hitting set.
Levels: Once you have finished the beginners level you can progress to the next level, new levels and details to come

Learn to dance Argentine Tango, Tango Classes Argentine Tango is a beautiful Latin dance that originated in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is a lead and follow dance and is often described as 'walking with a partner and the music'.

Beginners Tango Level: In our Beginners course you will learn the basics steps of Argentine Tango. Also you will begin to work on some fundamental techniques such as footwork, balance and rhythm. What is a shine? a shine is simply when you break away from your dance partner and do footwork to the Mambo section of the music. Or for performers 'facing the audience'.
TO SHINE…OR NOT TO SHINE…? Shines are a vital and exciting element within Salsa. When we first start salsa most of us have to get used to the whole ‘partner’ idea, which at first seems to be a strange ‘invasion of space’; After a while, we get so ‘comfortable’ with simply holding hands and tying and untying knots, that the thought of letting go and ‘shining’ on our own becomes quite confronting. We don’t know what to do with our feet or our bodies, and the shapings and ‘moods’ of some steps may be a little unfamiliar at first. However shines are really liberating! It allows the leader and follower equal possession and enjoyment of the song, without breaking the ‘partnership’ bond. To avoid them is missing out on half the experience of salsa. Shines should not overtake the dance, but it is an exciting break in patterns to watch and is great fun to do.
What Level is it?: Anyone can give it a go, however we will be aiming it to these levels: Improvers, Intermediate & beyond.
Learn a Salsa shine dance pattern, this will be like a mini routine each week and it will show you how to fit footwork into salsa music.
On1 & On2? You will be learning how to dance shines On1 & then On2 conversions.
Partners?: No partner is needed, this is footwork only. This workshop is for Men & Ladies!
