	Salsa Teachers; Reuben & Lise will be away in Europe from the 19th July over 3 weeks. During this time Paul & Marcela will be taking most of the Salsa classes, so no changes will occur to class times.

Social Dance Night 8pm-12:30am- Join us for a Hot Salsa Night at 'The Base Bar & Nightclub' - located in the heart of Sol Square in Christchurch. Come down and have a look, try some Latin style drinks and dance the night away! Anyone can come, this night is for everybody at all levels, dancers and non-dancers we have a free dance class to get you started.

Free Latin Dance Class - 8:30pm (30-45min) Free Latin Dance class for all levels. Good for all levels including absolute beginners. You could learn one of the following; Salsa, Bachata, Zouk, Tango, Zumba, Merengue, Salsa Shines, Cuban Salsa. Everyone welcome, No need to enrol, just turn up and join in.

Learn to dance Argentine Tango, Tango Classes Argentine Tango is a beautiful Latin dance that originated in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is a lead and follow dance and is often described as 'walking with a partner and the music'.
Beginners Tango Level: In our Beginners course you will learn the basics steps of Argentine Tango. Also you will begin to work on some fundamental techniques such as footwork, balance and rhythm. The Beginners Tango courses are designed to be fun & friendly, so don't worry if you have had no dance experience before. These offer a great opportunity to meet new people and act as a stepping stone to our Next levels in Tango.

Bachata Start Dates: Beginners - Mon 2nd Aug 7:30pm (FREE 1st class)

Bachata (Traditional) Beginners Class: For Beginners in Bachata, starting from the beginning, this is a fun class & your first one is FREE. If you have done this course before there will be some new combos. Once you have completed the bachata open level course, or have done beginners Bachata, you could progress the next level in Bachata when they appear.
Bachata Styles? • Traditional Style Bachata is the most simple, great to start with. It also has the most Dominican style influences. • Bachata Moderna style is "Tango" influenced Bachata with more complex fundamentals • Bachata Tango is a new style that has even more tango influence with new fundamentals & is popular in Italy & Spain.

Salsa Class (Linear salsa On1) Salsa Fundamentals. This is the most important level you will ever learn, its the foundation to linear salsa. It's worth repeating this level no matter what level you are, Improver, Intermediate or Advanced you can still improve your foundation. It's highly recommended you have completed 8 weeks of beginners class before joining this level. Remember if you find our intermediate a struggle, do this level as well as intermediate to help. You will pick up more details second or third time round, no matter what level you are.

Salsa Class (Linear salsa On1) You will learn - More Fundamentals and beyond. Also learn variations, combos, turn patterns, dips, techniques & styling. Duration: Join any time after the Improvers course and then complete a total of 1 year in Intermediate. Each of the Sections (A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L) all 4 week courses. You can join on week#1 on any of these sections as you finish Improver levels. Once you have completed all of the sections in' any' order you may be able to progress to the Upper Intermediate level on Monday at 8:30pm

New Timing Salsa CD (2010) or Mp3 Set (2009) contains essential timing, rhythms & music for salsa dancers. it's for beginners to advanced levels. It contains counts so you can get used to stepping in time with salsa and give you not only music to practice to, but knowledge of how salsa music is constructed, so you can become a better dancer. Salsa Latina uses tracks in its classes, it will train your brain to stay in time. There is a total of 13 tracks and tempos ranging from slow to med paced songs and now includes a bonus cha cha percussion track.

Bonus Info - This is also a learning system, you will also be given a hidden link to this website that will give you information on how to use these tracks, this is to aid your learning on how the music is constructed and how to learn to dance in time and find that (on1) count.
