Yoga Classes: An astanga class consists of posture sequences used with breath technique to realign and detoxify the physical body. Classes suit people of all ages, from beginners to advanced, as variations of posture will be given which are specific to each individual.
Benefits of Yoga: There are many benefits to the yoga practice. The whole endocrine system is improved, balancing sleep wake cycles, enhancing muscle control, tissue repair, organ function, sleep wake cycles, metabolic rate, digestion and growth. The parasympathetic nervous system is calmed giving a greater sense of wellbeing, clarity, and optimism.
The postures and breath together will greatly enhance day to day energy levels, increasing flexibilty and strength in not only body but also in mind.

Jolie
Jolie has spent the previous six years training and teaching in popular yoga studios throughout Australia.
Her primary training has been in Melbourne with her teacher of the Ashtanga Vinyasa based lineage, with an emphasis placed on Jnana yoga, giving her understanding of yoga as not only a means to realighn the physical body, but as a process of transformation.
Her interest in wellbeing inspired her to complete a Diploma in Counselling/Psychology (ACNM), Diploma in Human services (Victoria University), and Reiki levels 1, 2, 3 and Masters. Jolie is also currently completing her Science/Psychology degree at Canterbury University, and will be flying to Los Angeles in September to further her training in yoga science.
Her time over the past two years living in temples throughout Australia, has deepened her understanding of eastern philosophy and this ancient Vedic science.

Casual Rate: $17 (1.5 hour class)
